On the one hand, problem solving, in addition to having prime importance in learning mathematics, is an active learning methodology that encourages the acquisition of knowledge and helps students to develop skills. On the other hand, any engineer in his professional life is dedicated to applying their knowledge and skills in solving problems of different kinds. Therefore, a preliminary training is needed.

In this book, we aim to put at your disposal a collection of problems and exercises, sufficiently complete and adequate to your needs. We want you facilitate this and previous training helps you to assimilate properly, the subject taught in the lectures of the course Calculus II of the grades of Industrial and Aeronautical Engineering of the UPC.
